I don’t always listen to rap either. Simply because a lot of it is so repetitive. There are a select few rappers (3 stacks, Jay-Z, Ice Cube, TI, UGK, Trick Daddy, and Scarface) who always get played in my house/car no matter what because no matter how the game changes, they haven’t really “conformed” into something that they aren’t. Other than that, I don’t really listen to a lot of rap anymore. It’s getting boring. A lot of people call me a sellout or “white” when they find me listening to old school rock music. It’s crazy, but it’s DIFFERENT. I’m tired of fools talking about the same *****. The only thing really good about the rap game to me has nothing to do with rappers… It’s about the beats to me now. That’s the only thing really keeping me interested now.
