On Thursday morning Deion and Pilar appeared in a Collin County court for a hearing for protective orders both are seeking against each other. During the hearing it was clear each was trying to taint the other as unfit.
Deion’s attorney Rick Robertson tried to paint Pilar as a bad mother. He claimed she has failed to take their children to school on time and has been physically abusive to them.
“His children are one of the main reasons he’s here,” Robertson said of his client. “His role of father exceeds the role of most fathers.”
Meanwhile, Pilar’s attorney Larry Friedman said the accusation that she attacked the Hall of Fame cornerback was a diversion because “he got caught with an 18-year-old girl… a 44-year-old man with three children, with an 18-year-old girl.” Deion is driven by money and sex daily, he said.
Friedman also accused Deion of repeatedly calling Prosper police until they arrested his client and violating a gag order in the case by doing TV interviews and posting updates on Twitter.
“He can do anything he wants, anytime he wants to anybody he wants because he’s ‘Prime Time,'” Friedman said, referring to Deion’s nickname from his playing days.
Jeffery Shore, an attorney for the children, ages 12, 10 and 8, said they are struggling in school and need counseling.
“They live in a combat zone,” Shore said.
In an interview with FOX 4’s Shaun Rabb, Deion said it is terrible that they have to see their mother and father deal with such nonsense but it’s not that detrimental.
“We love the babies and the babies come first. It’s not that detrimental and they receive love from both ends. I assure you that,” he said.
SMH!!! Who believes Deion was definitely chopping down those tender young cakes???
