One-time spends so much time murking retired Marines veterans and punching Holocaust survivors, we wonder if they even bother fighting real crime.
A Holocaust survivor claims in a federal lawsuit he was punched in the face by an NYPD cop after he was pulled over for blowing a red light in Queens.
Miklos Muller, 77, was allegedly clocked by plainclothes Officer James McNellis at 3:30 p.m. on Nov. 15, 2011, after he was stopped on the Long Island Expressway near Queens Boulevard.
The victim — who went into hiding during the Nazi regime to escape deportation to concentration camps — admits he ran the light on Woodhaven Boulevard but said the beatdown was unnecessary.
“I’m upset about what they put me through,” said Muller. “They flashed their lights and I pulled over to the side . . . One cop started screaming at me, ‘You almost killed me,’ and punched me through the open window.”
The cops allegedly ordered him out of the car and threw him to the ground before cuffing him tightly.
“I was in pain,” Muller said. “They treated me like a criminal.”
The NYPD declined to comment.
LOL at dude saying “They treated me like a criminal.” Dude you admitted running the red light — you are a crimnal! Was the punching really necessary though? Probably not.
