Seems like poor Dame just can’t catch a break!

Music mogul Damon Dash’s Rolls-Royce Ghost was hit by a taxi as he was on the way to his birthday party Thursday night. Dash was headed to XVI lounge when, “An errant taxi driver side-swiped his Rolls-Royce,” we’re told. Fellow passenger, nightlife guru Noel Ashman, tells us Dash groused, “Oh, man. It’s my birthday.” Ashman continued, “Dash was remarkably calm — I would have been livid.” Dash eventually made it to his party that drew guests including Erin Fetherstone, Jim Jones, Cam’ron, Citizen Cope, Gus Johnson, Sweet Tee and former Black Panther Jamal Joseph. Dash’s son was the DJ, even playing Jay-Z songs, proving there was no bad blood between the two moguls.

We’re doubtful that there’s no bad blood between the two moguls… More like Jay-Z doesn’t give a fawk and Dame would like to pretend he doesn’t. Anyway we hope Dame had a great birthday in spite of the car crash, the lawsuit against him.
