Melanie Brown’s former housekeeper is now claiming that she deserted her two month old baby for days to run off to Las Vegas to marry what’s-his-name. According to NY Daily News:
Tonia Lamere says Spice Girl Mel B left young Angel Iris with her while she eloped to Sin City with Stephen Belafonte.
“One evening of baby-sitting turned into four days! The child was sick, there was no nanny, and when Mel called, she never even asked about the baby.”
Lamere also claims she was forced to buy food for baby Iris and her older half-sister Phoenix out of her own pocket during the four days Brown was away.
It’s a damn shame these people can’t take care of their kids properly. This is actually the first time that I’ve even heard the other daughter’s (Phoenix) name even come up since the baby was born. I was thinking she disappeared off the face of the earth. Poor little Phoenix can’t get no love. At least Angel Iris got to go to Vegas last week. Poor thang.

Cant stand Mel B. She trying to profit off that baby. But what’s wrong with her leaving her baby with somebody to get married? We talking four days here, not 1 or 2 wks, like most ppl honeymoon. She just made a mistake and left her with a cleaning lady that’s tired of cleaning, and is just as hungry for $ as her. Who complains about feeding a child for four days? Come on…When she agreed to watch her didn’t she think she was gonna have to feed her? This ***** just got one up on greedy ***** Mel.
particularly when a baby needs to be fed every 3 to 4 hours, oh yeah, i’d love to leave my babies with Lupita. Obviously, you don’t have kids.

That ***** happen to me before, i was *****ed as hell. I was a teen mom with someone else’s child and couldn’t even go to school for almost a week cause i agreed to watch a baby for the “weekend” for a $100 dollars and couldn’t find her mama on sunday, I’ll never forget that weekend. and it’s been over 10 years…lol
you never know what ppl. will say when they stand to make a profit. The reason why we never j=heard about Phoenix was because her daddy isn’t famous and didn’t deny he fathered her to the WHOLE world. Mel is probably a good mother, but before her parenting was on the low AND this housekeeper was probably very WELL compensated to look after a child whose parents wanted some sort of honeymoon after they got married, i’m sure Mel is STILL getting paid from spice girls’ royalties!

I agree. Theres nothing at all wrong with asking your housekeeper to watch your baby for a few hours and coming back 4 days later. No need to tell the housekeeper ahead of time or pay for the babies food. Any responsible parent would do that in a heartbeat. Im sure the housekeeper didnt have any plans of her own.
smh…some of people make me wonder. Its not okay to just up and leave your new baby for four days with out leaving food and money. I’m sure if woman had agreed to watch the baby for the four days, she wouldn’t of had a story to tell. And i ain’t mad at her for telling her story. It’s a Bugaboo stroller, people usually buy them b/c they’re easy to travel with, and have every accessory a parent on the go would need. Not that Im their sales rep or anything. I see them all the time in DC.

What Mel B was wrong and if the housekeeper lady gets paid off of telling her story, well then good for her. Why would you leave your 2 month old baby with any one for more than a day? When they are at that age, they require hands on attention, you have to cater to them 10 fold, and if it’s not your baby, then you’re going to get annoyed at the fact that this child’s mother is out having the time of her life while your stuck watchin their child.
