Tampa Strip Club Preparing To “Entice” Patrons Of 2012 RNC Convention

The 2001 Odyssey strip club in Tampa, Florida has revamped its online marketing strategy in hopes of attracting some of the nearly 50,000 people expected to attend the 2012 Republican National Convention. The strip club plans to use popular social media websites like Facebook, Twitter and Tumblr to create buzz building up to the Republican National Convention (RNC) in Tampa this August.

The owner of the strip club also has a claim in Club Cam Systems, a set up that allows live streaming video of strip clubs to be played online. The system allows RNC attendees who might not want to be seen at a strip club visit the club virtually from the privacy of their hotel room. But ultimately, the strip club is hoping their online endeavors drive people to their brick and mortar club.

“For the RNC, people need places to go. We’re trying to create the awareness for people who come to Tampa that Tampa has a lot of things to do,” Russ Bruno of Club Cam Systems told the Tampa Bay Times. “People coming down for the RNC can log in online and see what’s going on at the club so they can bring parties to the club during the convention.”
