Please keep YOUR arms of protection around them and let no harm or danger come to them. We know that there are ppl out there who are plotting. But we also know that no weapon formed against them shall prosper with YOU as their guiding light. Help him guide this country into the direction that YOU would have it to go. Help us in knowing that a CHANGE will come. It may not come quick or eazy but it’s coming in YOUR time. Continue to Bless us all now and forever. The only thing most of you black women have in common with Michelle Obama is a VAGINA! She’s articulate, intelligent, College educated and married to a more accomplished person.

How many of you black female failures and near doer wells can remotely come close to relating to this woman? Stop trying to latch your imaginary accomplishments and sense of empowerment to this woman’s comet.

Most of you are probably single out of wedlock mothers who will never be married, let alone accomplished.

If I’m not mistaken, Michelle will be the youngest first lady since Jackie O, so that may tie into the comparisons between the two women. I think a number of people are fascinated with the idea of having a young family (on top of them being African American) in the White House and that places the Obamas underneath a microscope, which includes Michelle’s wardrobe. Michelle is quickly turning into a style icon, and that has turned into a lucrative connection for some retailers, like J. Crew whose clothes Michelle has worn during interviews. I think there’s an appeal to her down-to-earth, affordable yet elegant fashion sense that has parlayed well into her burgeoning popularity. It will be interesting to see how her image continues to evolve in the White House.
