One-Time is investigating the nephew of Donde West who is a R.N. that was caring for her after the surgery:
A year after Kanye_West’s mother, Donda, 58, died while recovering from plastic surgery, PEOPLE has learned that California authorities have launched a probe into the possible role of Donda West’s nephew, Stephan Scoggins, 46. A registered nurse, Scoggins was supervising West’s post-surgery care with West’s assistant and a friend when, according to a source familiar with the situation, he left the house to attend a baby shower the day after West underwent breast augmentation and liposuction last Nov. 10. West died that evening at a Los Angeles hospital. At the time, the death of the rapper’s mother was described by a family spokesman as “the result of complications from a cosmetic surgical procedure,” a statement that placed intense scrutiny on West’s surgeon, Dr. Jan Adams. But last January, a Los Angeles coroner ruled that West died of “multiple post-operative factors,” effectively clearing Dr. Adams of responsibility. In this new development, an investigator with the California Department of Consumer Affairs has issued subpoenas asking individuals “to testify in the matter of the investigation of Stephan Scoggins,” a source tells PEOPLE.
Kind of unfortunate that after all the man and his family have gone through with this ordeal, people still won’t let the late be great, and live.

This is just so sad. Why don’t they let well enough alone? I can only imagine what West has been going through being I to lost my mother it’ll be two years this Jan. My mother also had a breast augmentation on a Monday and p*****ed that Thursday while it was ruled out as complication with her surgery. But this is just so sad. I wish they’d just stop already. What needs to be happening is they need to be trying to find the accomplice to the Hudson murders, now lets talk about that!!!

Thanks, Chanel Shades! That was nice. And what makes it even worse is her B-day is the day after Thanksgiving. Just have to TRY and make the best of it and stay on them knees you know! I just wish people would let the deceased RIP. Just like when Mediatakeout had a clip of the actual 911 call from West mother when she was p*****ing just made me sick to my stomach how cruel and heartless people can be during ones grieving. At that point, I wish that sight would have been shut down forever! Wishful thinking huh.
You know my mother had major surgery and was in the hospital for 2 1/2 days and we did not leave her there alone, because anything can happen within those first few hours or days. Why would he leave her by herself the day after the surgery with no qualified person to care for her, just to attend a baby shower. That is crazy.

I wish women did not feel the need for surgery. My mom wants to get some work done and I had to break her news and tell her you have not worked out your whole life and now you want a nice body?!? She tried to tell me that some people have distorted body images and Drs should recommend counseling first, I say don’t do surgery unless you are deformed or been in an accident. We have to take care of ourselves when we are young. There is no miracle cure and it is too dangerous. So many people die from these cosmetic procedures but they only show you the fantasy 90210 stuff. I love my body even the parts I don’t like. I am praying that you stay on your knees in prayer for Thanksgiving but I also pray you will get on and live your life the way your momma would like for you too and buy a new bra to celebrate your body!!!

I am not going to hate on any woman that has bust reductions, because they chaff, and cause back problems. I am also not going to hate on any woman that chooses to have any type of cosmetic surgery because age and child birth can do some things that diet and excercise can not cure. The problem was that her body was not up to it and she chose to go thru with it anyway. also that dog’on nephew of hers said that he would take care of her and didn’t
I’m not hating on anyone who wants cosmetic surgery but there is a 50/50 chance of death regardless if the person is healthy or not. They tell you that before the procedure. She knew she had heart problems before the surgery and SHE CHOSE to go ahead with it.
Let that nice lady rest in peace. The investigation should have been over with. This ***** is real silly and sad. Kanye is really sad right now. He needs comfort and understanding. God bless you Kanye.

I actually had a breast reduction about 3 years ago and my mom was so intrigued by it she wanted one SO bad. I kept telling her she didn’t need it. She had already gone her entire 51 years with having large breast, why change now. But she was persistent. After they did the autopsy they actually found out she had a heart disease that not even she knew about and the surgery just put it over the top. And yes, I stay praying and I know she wouldn’t want me weeping all the time but it’s so hard girl because she was and still is my best friend. I don’t think I will EVER have to go through anything harder than that in my entire life. It’s so nice to see that some people on here actually have sense and can hold a conversation.

Someone is trying awfully hard to pin this death on someone. Doctors and everyone else are always saying that death is a possibility with every surgery that requires the use of anesthesia. It’s like the health Maranda warning. Not to mention the added risk of being cut. It’s truly tragic that this happened to Dr. West and now it’s time to allow her to rest in peace and not go after people who are also grieving just because they played a part in caring for her when it has been proven that her death was no one’s fault, but the plastic surgery. You can’t punish it.
