Another day another taxpayer’s dollar

Mitt Romney Raises $76 Million In Campaign Funds

As things heat up on the campaign trail, both presidential candidates are pulling out all of the stops to get ahead at the polls. Not to be out done, Republican candidate Mitt Romney, with the help of the Republican National Committee, raised a reported $76.8 million in May surpassing President Obama’s total by over $15 million and bringing Money Mitt’s (who is worth over $250 Milli) fall election spending account total to $107 million.

Translation: Balliiiiiiin!

Romney had this to say in response:

“We are encouraged by the financial support from a broad range of voters,” Romney National Finance Chairman Spencer Zwick said. “It is clear that people aren’t willing to buy into ‘hope & change’ again. Voters are making an investment because they believe that it will benefit the country.”

Meanwhile, Reince Priebus, the RNC Chairman said the May numbers were “a sign that Americans are tired of President Obama’s broken promises and want a change of direction in the White House.”

Would you donate to a presidential campaign fund in support of candidate, or would you just rock the vote and keep it moving?
