Man Arrested For Hitting Woman In The Head With Bottle Of Soy Sauce
Dude looks straight crazy:
An Alpine Ranchos man was arrested on Tuesday on suspicion of hitting a woman in the head with a full bottle of soy sauce. Joel Nuccio, 37, was booked into the Coconino County Detention Facility on charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, two counts of misdemeanor assault, and one count of disturbing the peace.
Coconino County sheriff’s deputies, along with medical personnel, reached the crime scene with the help of GPS coordinates called in by the victim. When they got there, they found Nuccio bleeding with a severe stab wound in one of his ankles. The woman said Nuccio showed up at her home without any notice and while they were in the kitchen, he struck her with the soy sauce bottle, according to deputies. She said she grabbed a knife. Nuccio approached her and at some point he was cut in the ankle by the weapon, sheriff’s investigators said.
The woman tried to treat the wound and eventually put him the back of her pickup truck to drive to a neighbor’s home for help, deputies said. Nuccio got a large screw driver, broke out the back window of the woman’s truck and attempted to stab her while she was driving, deputies said.
When they reached the neighbor’s home, Nuccio attacked two people who were attempting to help him, deputies said. They were able to subdue Nuccio and hold him until authorities arrived. Nuccio was taken to the Flagstaff Medical Center where he was treated for his injuries and then booked into the detention facility.
