Some of the biggest names in hip-hop joined forces for the Red Bull EmSee National Finals in Atlanta, which was hosted by Phonte and judged by David Banner, Big K.R.I.T and DJ Premier, with tunes by 9th Wonder. Red Bull EmSee Nation Finals featured eight of the nation’s top battle rappers, but it was Mic Stew from Philadelphia that claimed victory and was awarded a $10,000 prize and the opportunity to collaborate with a producer of his choice at Red Bull Studio Los Angeles.

Throughout the night, the audience was treated to special performances by DJ Premier, as he spun the hottest hip hop jams from the 90’s; Big K.R.I.T as he performed his hit singles “4 EvaNaDay”, “Country Shit” and “I Got This Here”; and headliner David Banner as he performed new cuts from his mixtape Sex, Drugs and Video Games, as well as classic hits like “Amazing”, “Get Like Me”, “Swag”, “Play” and “Like a Pimp”. Banner even brought Big K.R.I.T back out on stage to perform “Believe”.
