It will be a sad day for black folk when the life and death of Emmett Till is laughable. While countless black men and women were/are murdered because of the color of their skin, Emmett was the straw that broke the camel's back. He is our symbol of strength and or fight for justice. What's next, are you going to start posting images of nooses and pass it off as a joke? Cuz that's what the authorities in Jena are saying - that the nooses hanging from the tree were a joke. Can't you see that there are some things that just aren't funny. Why don't you dedicate a days worth of blogging illustrating something positive about black folk or maybe you should cover a hard hitting news story about blacks (including our brothers and sisters in Africa once) once in a while. I'm not sure how many people read this site, but I'm sure your voice can reach the masses. You just can't leave things like this. You must make it up to us.
