Cute baby. Whats with all the white baby dolls and then the one black one. Then again it’s probably Latina and the other is creole.
I did notice the selection of baby dolls. The blue eyed one kinda looks like Solanges baby Daniel. Oh well I guess
it’s a case of too much effort to be politically correct…they’re different shades. i think i spotted an asian one. the creepy things even got different eye colors. if I was that baby i’d be freaked the hell out..

It’s funny. Someone said it perfectly. They make their money as blacks and live their lives in their heads as creole or latin or white. Okay. Why are there no brown, yellow, etc. dolls? And they made them just like Mattell: They are all the same except the black one has brown #3 mixed in. Really, is it THAT hard to make non-white dolls with non-white features?

there is nothing wrong with being creole (everybody has a different interpretation of what that means)…some people who are brown skinned (ala Gabrielle Union) consider themselves creole….I used the word in my first post as a nickname for Beyonce….Spicy Creole = Beyonce since her and Mama Tina can’t seem to let the Creole thing go….i.e. Mama Tina’s self professed design style “Creole Couture” (whatever that means)

I think they were trying to show diversity. Not all the babies are white, and just because most of the babies are “light-skinned” doesnt make them white. The “real” baby is black and thats what the line is really representing. THINK ABOUT IT. There is so much hate towards this woman, until she REALLY does something racist, she is cool in my book. Let her collaborate, embrace, or accept any culture she wants to. She knows she is BLACK….Are you comfortable in YOUR own skin ?
