Jesus is the reason for the season, how we all seem to forget, not a man made day that celebrates nothing. Just a day to get people who when they finish shopping and realize their bank account is negative start taking out their fustrations on the next man. In history when the word black is associated with anything its made out to be negative and wow now look again. Wake up people dont get caught up in the trap, most of us cant afford to be spending even on sale days. And how soon we forget that a recession doesnt go away overnight so guess what? People you should be saving for the rainy days to come. May God have mercy on all the heartless,materialistic, no brain indivisuals that caused this mans death. This was a hard working human that who knows his situation but he was there working 5am in the morning to make money not splurge money and he was murdered by humans??? I dont feel those people deserve that title. Please you know who you are pray for forgiveness cause if you just let it slide like nothing happened, remember God knows and sees all, NOT SANTA CLAUS.

I am sorry, but while I agree with most of the post about corporate greed and the like, did I miss something about the crowd being at fault for trampling the worker at Walmart? I am curious as the type of mentality that existed with the customers who saw fit to bogard their way into a store like that? I mean, Black Friday was all over the U.S. and stangely, that was the only place where this happened and I saw plenty of places here in L.A. that did NOT have enormous amounts of security… Yes, Los Angeles… Since it is all a scheme by corporate America to take all our money, why did these shoppers feed into it so, uh, ravenously? During a recession, we don’t buy TVs on sale, we buy food, laundry detergent, soap, toothpaste, etc. that is on sale…

This crap is pathetic. This is why Americans ESPECIALLY minorities need to wake up and realize that these corporations don’t give a damn about us. All they care about is profit, regardless of how they get their revenue. Sad.

This ish should be the first incident into a full blown investigation on how not only walmart but the whole retail industry treats thier employees. WORKING IN RETAIL SUCKS. Even though to some people that are shopping thinks that it is so easy. They come into the store being lazy and rude and then expect to recieve the best service. While wanting to get a lot for a little. 75% Customers dont hold much value to retail workers(unless they have worked in the service industry themselves) neither does the pepole working in corporate office. They sit in a huge building never even stepping foot into these stores not even to shop and if they do come into the stores the visits are few and far between but yet they control every way these stores operate. I hope Mr. Damour’s family sues the hell out of walmart.

It just goes to show where folks priorities are. More value is placed on making money than on human life. You CANT tell me that Store executives had NO clue that things would get out of control if they didn’t have proper security to keep things under control. This is just SO sad that someone has to loose their life because people have no regard for others. I feel so horrible for this mans family.

This is so sad and unfortunate. Sadly people have forgotten the meaning of Christmas and an innocent life was lost because people are more concerned with a stupid sale. It’s really not that serious.
