U know I wanna 1st clear this up because obviously u got it f*cked up…I look nothing like Kim Porter, and I mean that in a very good way…my complexion is actually the complete opposite, however I am a BLACK woman 100 percent…and coming from a VERY BEAUTIFUL LIGHTSKINNED BLACK WOMAN, I was looking beyond the fact that everyone seemed to think that if your’re lightskinned, your’re automatically pretty…THAT is NOT always true….My hair isn’t anywhere NEAR the course hair you’re try to describe….I’m sure that’s something you were describing for yourself….somebody sounds very offended, and angry with the way they look….hence the name TABITHA…In alot of cases, you very rarely have people complimenting darkskinned women and I do find that very offensive being a black woman…I honestly admire the darker complected skin like Kim Porter’s if you were paying attention I complimented her on it, I said that her features were horrible, speaking about her facial features, not her skin DUMMY…I even said she has a nice length of hair, but commenting on what someone else said that she does’t wear fake hair,I commented back that she DOES…This isn’t about her complexion or her hair or her looks…she’s clearly a dumb*****, gold digging trick, whose trying to get some attention, because she looked stupid one too many times behind the ish that Diddy did to her dumb *****…If she stupid enough to keep putting up wit it…then she get exactly what she deserves…Ur bitter ***** probably going through the same thing, and you’re probably butt ***** ugly that’s why you so mad…You’re probably Kim Porter dumb ***** yourself!!!! If you really want to know, I more resemble the Alicia Keys, Halle Berry’s and the f*cking Mariah Carey’s in the world, and not being mixed at all…If you only knew what the f*ck I looked like, you would be looking and feeling 10 Karat stupid…Just because you’re a HIGH paid hoe off of being someone’s *****hole for years doesn’t make you someone important HONEY!!!!!!!

Slavery ended in 1865; yet today in 2007, Black people obey without question this vile, soul-destroying definition of the race term “Black.” That term was designed specifically to separate the White race from any version of this “polluted, melting pot.” It also served to identify and brand all versions of appearance of black people unto slavery; and to further systematically destroy any chance of self-esteem, self-worth, solidarity, economic empowerment or slave revolt.

Slavery was a very deliberate process designed to build America’s economy as a very rapid rate, and at the expense of a nation of very skilled, resourceful and intelligent people. How else could America gain so much power and wealth in such a very short amount of time of only 200 years?

The land was taken aggressively from the Indians and occupied by pilgrims. In their quest, and greed, to establish a sustainable and residual economy (because all other attempts failed), early European Americans sought slavery and viewed it as a necessary and profitable option.

The purpose of my mention of slavery is to point out that in oder to get the Africans to submit and subject them to slavery, the Americans had to destroy their language, culture, family, sense of self-worth to achieve forced cooperation. The slaves lived in a constant state of fear. The slaves were forced to abandon their culture and embrace the new dysfunctional and condescending lifestyle of slavery.

Because they were intimidated by the African sense of beauty, that too was destroyed. Beauty is directly related to self-esteem and self-worth–this too had to be destroyed. It saddens me to hear today that Blacks still value their European features (straighter hair, good hair, lighter skin thin nose and lips, etc.) above the African features that make them unique. It is painfully obvious that we are still suffering from self-hate, taught from slavery, when we rate the beauty of a Black woman by how many Europan facial features she may have.

Blacks hatin on blacks is nuthin new. Weve all been there, done it, seen it. For any black person light or dark to say they have never witnessed such predujiced behaviour, i dont know whether to call them naive, in denial or lucky. I wish we cud all be equally appreciated. But light will always “win”. Half of them are overrated. We, same black ppl build their heads with this ego. U have “good” skin, hair, features. True, maybe, but its hype. Why is it ppl are surprised to see a “pretty” black girl? Absolute insult.

Im done with this, this talk makes me angry. I like dark skin brudas but they generally dont find a dark skin girl like myself(and others)attractive. Im average, not chocolate dark, but not caramel light either. It seems u gotta look like c*****ie, B, or any light girl to get looked at in SOME brothas eyes.However i appreciate my darker ppls first bcos they are also beautiful and secondly and most importantly bcos it seems no one else is supporting us.
