Kwame Kilpatrick’s bust-it-secretary, Christine Beatty, is headed to the big house:

Ex-mayoral aide Christine Beatty pleaded guilty Monday in a text-messaging sex scandal with former Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick that gripped the city for nearly a year. She will spend four months in jail.

“I lied under oath,” a tearful Beatty told the judge, echoing the words her former boss, Kilpatrick, uttered in a courtroom during his own guilty plea three months earlier. Both admitted lying when they claimed they were not romantically involved. They were both married at the time.

Beatty, 38, pleaded guilty to two obstruction of justice charges. Under the deal with prosecutors, she will be sentenced next month to serve four months in jail and five years of probation. She will also pay $100,000 in restitution to the city.

We sure hope she was getting her back blown out something viscous because 4 months in jail and $100,000 is a steep price to pay for some wack ass “D.” SMH

    Hey Beautiful :-)
*Saying that with respect to your future husband

I feel the same way = that’s what she gets…

I feel sorry for all of the other innocent victims of this who have to suffer because of the poor choices she made = her husband and her children (*if she has any), Kilpatrick’s wife and children & the city of Detroit having to put up with this NONSENSE :-(

  • well well well

Thank u @corporatecutieshayshay! I’m in the Burbs of Detroit too and thats’ what is frustrating about this whole n*ggidy mess – it aint about the Textual Healin’ The issue here is the covering up of a murder case of a stripper that Kwame’s wife put the beat down on, which forced these text messages into public to prove that their were conversation being had about firing the investigating detectives. The Textual Healin’ was just gravy and to prove a pattern of lying under oath to cover up their ish. With the murdered dancers’s case still ongoing and her lawyer pullin even more text messages – ya’ll aint heard the last of these two sad kneegrows. *smh*

    CLASSIC @ n*ggidy…

  • HOPE WON

This just gets more confusing as it goes on. They were both stupid. And why did the wife beat the dancer up in the first place. Hope it wasn’t cause of him, she should’ve been beating his no good arse

Why does Heather Headley’s song enter my mind when I read this:

I DIDN’T MEAN TO (by Heather Headley)

    It’s bordering on insanity
    So blurred
    So unclear
Then suddenly eyes focus and realize that
this man should not be here
It’s funny how there’s no remorse in the moment
But after it’s over you wish you could disown it
And as you get up to tell this stranger to leave
The love of your life walks in and sees . . . everything

    Chorus:
And of all the things that you could have said
    What was in your head?
    I didn’t mean to
All the thoughts running through your mind
    All that you could find
    I didn’t mean to
And the pain of losing everything comes over you
    I didn’t mean to
All you can say is that ‘you didn’t mean to’
    I didn’t mean to

    And it’s reality now
Pictures of him and your baby
Smashed in broken glass all on the floor
With his suitcase in one hand, your little girl’s hand in the other
You hear him say “Mommy don’t live us no more”
And it cuts like a knife but you can’t blame him either
    You’re a mother, you’re a wife, but you’re also a cheater
Ooh girl, one silly moment of lust
Just cost you everything that you’ve ever loved

    Chorus:
And of all the things that you could have said
    What was in your head?
    I didn’t mean to
All the thoughts running through your mind
    All that you could find
    I didn’t mean to
And the pain of losing everything comes over you
    I didn’t mean to
All you can say is that ‘you didn’t mean to’
    I didn’t mean to

    Bridge:
Oh, the clouds are rolling in
As you prepare to face this punishment and suffer the consequence
    Such a price to pay
    Was it really worth it?
    And you fight back tears
As you watch him take the only thing you ever truly loved away
The tears in her eyes as she waves goodbye
    Slowly kills you inside

    Chorus:
And of all the things that you could have said
    What was in your head?
    I didn’t mean to
All the thoughts running through your mind
    All that you could find
    I didn’t mean to
And the pain of losing everything comes over you
    I didn’t mean to
All you can say is that ‘you didn’t mean to’

  • oh well...

I guess it’s hard out here for a PIMP!!

It wasn’t just beating up a dancer it was murder. This fool had a nice, hardworking husband, yet she would bring the Mayor over to her house to have sex while her husband was there. He was afraid of her and the Mayor because they threatened to have him killed if he breathed a word about it. The Mayor’s bodyguards use to beat the husband up and threatened his life. Mayor kilpatrick was a fool and should never have been elected. Once in office he acted like your typical ghetto, rapper thug and helped to bring down Detroit lower than it already was.

The woman they are strongly suspected of putting a contract on fled the state, but the hitman managed to track her down in New Orleans and kill her. This woman and the mayor are dirty as trash.
