Something looks “off” about those pictures. There’s either too much makeup on them, or somebody did a bad job of airbrushing the pictures.

Michelle looks breath-taking and our future president belongs on the cover of GQ as World’s Sexiest Man. I am sure that our country will benefit from such a strong, power couple in the White House.

On behalf of all Canadians who visit the site let me be the first to say what a beautiful cover picture Essence have done of the President Elect, Mr. Barack Obama, and his Bright & Beautiful Wife First Lady (in waiting) Mrs. Michelle Obama. They make me wish I was an Amarican.

It doesn’t bother me at all to see them, but it is disturbing to see maniac worshippers like you who’s mind has been taken over by the Obamas Kool Aid to try to chew me out for my opinion. It is my opinion and if you think she is beautiful and he is such a God, then so be it. Just because I chose not to drink the Kool Aid and I have my own mind, don’t abhor what I said – get real.

Michelle is not ugly… She’s a bit more attractive than Obama…and as far as ‘first couples’ go, them and the Biden’s are just fine.

As far as the covers, they do seem a bit off. Almost like caricatures, and not photos… Essence can do better…

Also, I may disagree with people, but there is no need to cut them down because they don’t like a public figure. I value my self, my family, and even those online, since I’m in fact closer to them, than public figures….

Look at Essence magazine $$making$$ a killing for the January Issue. This was a bright AS* marketing idea!

I wonder how much they are going to hit us over the head for this one.

Obama is far from stupid. He adheres to the old adage of keeping one’s friends close and one’s enemies closer. Thus Hilary is Secretary of State. It is far easier to keep up with her schemes (and her loud-mouth husband) in a position that he appointed her to as opposed to her being a senator outside his immediate circle of control. She will also be beholden to him and less likely to publically oppose his presidency without making herself look stupid since she is in his cabinet. (which she could’ve turned down but chose to accept) I think the plan is to give Bill Clinton a foreign ambassador type gig to keep him out of the U.S. as much as possible. It will be difficult for him to bad-mouth Barack with his wife as Sec of State. So it’s not a shady move to put Hilary in such a position. The man didn’t stumble up on the presidency. He is razor sharp. If people get out of hand, pit bull Rahm Emanuel will surely put them back in place while Barack keeps his hands clean and still looks like the nice guy.

I don’t care if it’s Photoshopped, a cartoon or someones doodle, I’m always happy to this beautiful example of black elegance and excellence anywhere…and if Barack’s serving us ‘Obama Kool Aid’ then keep it coming because it taste good to me and does da body GOOD!

Yeah she is married to Barack Obama.. but lets not forget, she is too very educated, Harvard/Princeton Graduate… she is such an inspiration, to many young black women. actually to all minorities. Give her credit for that. She is not the beauty queen, but she looks like the average black women… black educated women, thank goodness for that. black people wake up!!
