Hope yall know VH1 & most shows don’t pay. Especially if you making a debut. Everyone that is first time on the show already signed a contract and they probably only getting per-diem. They aint getting DVD sales or syndication money.

If you qualified to be on one of them shows right now and they offered you a bucket of wings you would take it. Now if you get ignant, crazy and show your ass and become popular you might be able to command some more money, return for another season or get a spin-off show but still not DVD sales, etc. And that is if you did not sign some wacky contract that whatever nickname they gave you and your persona belongs to them. Like Giligan, Mr. Spock, etc. You will pay VH1 a percentage for making appearences as the character you played on a show(yes character because it aint really reality tv).
Also you make money from magazine covers, club appearences, music videos appearances, etc.
