Jeezy Pulls the Publicity Card

Young Jeezy’s views on the comments Keyshia Cole made recently in an interview in Essence Magazine:
Aww man, ya know, I guess it’s publicity season everybody trying to sell records. Can’t knock her for that but I ain’t really tripping because that don’t pertain to me. She can’t obviously be talking about me. It’s publicity season, everybody’s doing what they do, so I guess that’s what that is.
Click here for a reminder of what Keyshia said in the interview. It’s obvious to us that she was talking about him. So now Jeezy’s claiming she’s fu*kin for publicity. The Snowman knows he was heartbroken when she shut him down on the marriage proposal. Poor thang.

Keyshia is a survivor, that’s for sure, so no matter what Jeezy say she is going to make it. So nice to see a young sister (beside Shaunie O’Neill) with some brains for a change. Hard to impress a sister that already has money of her own. I love it!

Well if there was any doubt they were dating, his comment should prove otherwise. I mean, she didn’t even say exactly who it was, she kept it anonymous altho we all figured it was Jeezy…now his comment just further showed that he was wounded, b/c there was nothing negative about her comment. It’s ok, Jeezy, you’ll be ok…she ain’t disrespect you, so please keep it 100% real and don’t start frontin b/c she said no..if she wasn’t ready, she wasn’t ready, she said she still love you lol…
Ummm why she put him on blast like that. She knew he was going to get asked a million times to comment after the Essence interview was published.
OF course the women are going to take up for KC. Never mind that she spoke on the situation. That’s enough. One thing to go through a break up and another to have it all out where everybody can put their 2 cent in. And as much as yall hate on black men, he was willing to commit and she put everything out there. Obviously he still feelin’ it. A break up is one thing, a broken engagement is another.

You would actually let this one situation be a good enough reason for black men not to marry a sistah?
You know how many men put rings on women’s fingers and one if not both are not ready to settle down? How do you know Jeezy was ready? He still rap songs about f**in hoes and b’s, but then got nerve to want to propose? A ring doesn’t make a person ready to marry.
Young Jeezy?? This time next year he won’t even be relevant. Dude for real…he should have begged her to name names. That way, he would have truly gotten publicity. Right about now, dude needs to work on his rap game. How many times can you say, “let’s get it”?

True…she didn’t need to speak on the relationship in an interview. That’s an invitation for any and everyone to give their two cents about the situation.
But, she did not say anything negative about him.
I guess she didn’t learn that lesson about not revealing too much to the press. Especially when speaking on a man like Jeezy. I’m sure she knew he was the type to talk some ish to save face.
