Ben Affleck’s Plans To Work With Jennifer Lopez Causing Problems In His Marriage
Word on the street is that Ben Affleck is having serious marital discord and it’s all because he’s got a hankering to get behind the camera with his ex!

Insiders tell Star that his wife Jennifer Garner, has been begging him for a part in The Stand, a film adaptation of the Stephen King horror novel that he’s set to direct, but he’s refusing her wishes.
“He wants to keep his family life and directing career separate,” the insider says. “And it’s not like Jennifer can argue. The two of them can’t be working at the same time because of the kids.” One person he’s readily agreed to hire? His most famous ex, Jennifer Lopez, 42! “J.Lo has been on the hunt for a new high profile film project after her turn in What To Expect When You’re Expecting gave her the acting bug again,” says the source. “And Ben wants to assemble a killer cast for this big-budget film. It’s been getting a lot of hype, and he can’t ignore her recently revived star power.”
The news has caused Jennifer, 40, to hit the roof — and not just because she wants a part herself. “She fears the ‘Bennifer curse’ rearing its ugly head again,” says the source. (Who can forget what Gigli did for Ben’s acting career?) The couple have had a continuously rocky marriage since they wed in 2005, but for Jen, dealing with “Bennifer” being back in the headlines again might just be too annoying to handle.
We saw Gigli and we’re gonna have to side with Mrs. Affleck on this one. Don’t do it Ben! It’s definitely not worth ruining your marriage over.
