Yall say the West fell off. It wasnt because of the music because everything you hear in music came from the WEST. Niggas wasnt talking about the shit the talking about now until the WEST broke the line. The reason why the WEST cant get on now is because of FEAR. Suge Knight put so much fear in the industry that they made sure the first time he slipped up they would snatch it up and run wit it. People say Biggie was the greatest of all time and thats far from true. Yeah BIG was a amazing dude I will say, but to say he was the greatest is far to far. He only made 2 albums we never got a chance to see his full peak. Look at what Eazy-E did for Hip Hop. But they will say BIG because he saved the EAST thats why they say that. But Biggie did bring nothing to HIP HOP that made the game change. Eazy put a face on HIP HOP that will forever be there.
TUPAC: That dude has dropped about 6 albums since his death, and continue to be on hot singles, come on now. Look at what SNOOP did for HIP HOP he may be garbage now, but he brought a style to HIP HOP that will be forever used. Ok first off bump shawty lo. he just looking for attention. second off i am from brooklyn born and raised and i live in the south. with that said i see pedro talking and i feel him on some parts. But the south has lyricist too. i can start with outkast. i shouldn’t have to even say anything after them. also jay fell off? u must no have heard the american gangster album. “selling drugs is sorta like using it/ guess theres 2 sides to what substane abuse is” or “looking at yourself in the mirrors backwards can’t even face yourself” or how about “while the new school doing numbers like soduku”. You must be a younging. also ti and wayne are not whack but i can understand your misconception. Its the same misconception the south has for the north (ny really)
The way of thinking and life style is differen in each region thus making it hard to relate to the other. Sure the south has thug ish going on but lets be real its not as much people so it doesn’t seem as constant. for example a city about the same size as ny with even 1/2 the population (1/2 being generous) won’t see as many acts of violence. As opposed to the same sized city with twice its numbers. what ny rappers rap about is real. go to my hood and see. thats why a lot of people from the south can’t relate to ny rap right now. also people are more laid back in the south where we a lil more uptempo in ny. the south being more laid back would want to party more. this the inability for everyone from ny to understand or relate. all in all both areas puts out good music. u just have to adjust to that life to fully appreciate it. i aint like it when i first moved out here but now i love it. but i’m still on my brooklyn shyt

For people who don’t like southern music, don’t listen to it. how bout this… y don’t we have a battle.. North vs. South & c who wins. I put the USDA stamp on it that the south will come out he winner. I’m not saying NY rapper aren’t good, it’s just that there aren’t very many out there that have a message in there music like Outkast, Goodie Mob, T.I. Jezzy, Scarface, UGK, Trick Daddy, Dro, Killer Mike…should i keep goin? Im talking bout real artist not that other bullsh*t
