Kobe Says President Obama PDA On Kiss Cam ‘Not For Everyone’
Kobe Bryant shot a small jab at President Obama’s PDA for his wife Michelle as they were caught on the “Kiss Cam” at a recent basketball exhibition in Washinton, DC.
In so many words, Kobe says you won’t catch him slobbin’ down his almost ex-wife Vanessa in public.
Following Team USA’s 80-69 win over Brazil on Monday night, President Obama called Kobe Bryant a “competitor” and said he expects “a little trash-talking whenever the opportunity arises” for the Los Angeles Lakers guard.
Turns out, the President was right on the money.
After Obama was dealt a small dose of rejection when First Lady Michelle Obama turned him down on a kiss cam, Bryant took a shot at Obama.
“PDA is not for everybody, you know what I mean,” Bryant said.
Then he backpedaled a bit.
“But he makes the important decisions, so it’s all good.”
Obama disagreed with Bryant’s comments about the 2012 Team USA beating the 1992 Dream Team, pointing out that the Michael Jordan-led ’92 squad never trailed in a game like the U.S. men did Monday night.
Bryant’s teammate LeBron James acted a little more humbled by the President’s visit.
“It’s overwhelming,” James said. “For me, for all of us, to be in a position to have the president watch you play the game that we love to play, you have dreams about being in the NBA, you have dreams about making game-winning jumpers. You never have dreams about having a president watch you play because you don’t think it’s possible. It’s humbling to see him here, to see the First Lady here, to have his kids here to watch us play. It’s amazing.”
This dude Kobe has really been gettin out of pocket lately! And wasn’t he spotted lip-lockin all on HIS wife after a game for all of the cameras to see not too long ago? SMH.
