Yes we already know ALicia Keys doesn’t have the huge range that I guess Beyonce has…But why compare them when they are totally different…I’m sure nobody would think to care about Beyonce in the Marvin Gaye days either because the content of her songs wouldn’t stand a chance in an era where songs were so meaningful. Marvin Gaye and them didn’t have to dance for a stage presence…Please stop comparing Beyonce to Alicia…they both have good and bads about them..Alicia doesn’t have as much range as some people would like her to have…but I love her content…sometimes its not about who “entertains” the best and gives me a “show”…clowns can easily do that…It’s about content and not singing about booty shaking and stupid things that I really don’t relate to in my everyday life.

I agree, I think that her image and/or personality is what people like most about her—I know that’s the main thing that I like about her.

But, while she has made some good songs, there are countless other artists whose artistry is ten times more refined—and simply better–than hers.

Still, I guess, that says a lot about the state of the entertainment industry. Because she’s a positive role model and pretty, a lot of people see her as an anomaly and a Godsend. And for some reason, her mediocrity seems to be enough for them.

She looks great and I love her song. Her skin looks a whole lot better than it did the other day, it is amazing what some make-up can do!

Well, I for one love Alicia’s new song. I’m in love though so maybe that’s why it speaks to me, I don’t know. I love the pain and strain in her voice. I thought it was done purposely. It almost reminds me of music from the past. It makes me feel the song more. This isn’t a the type of song to sing sweetly, you have to scream it from the rooftops!

I like the song now every since her Mtv performance, but the comment about her not being dark skin and fat, the skin color has nothing to do with it. Amarie is dark skinned and beautiful and Kelly Roland is cute (I guess), but Alicia is hot by all standards and ugly is ugly no matter what their skinn color is.
