I watched some of this on CNN as the judge read her verdict and OJ and the co-defendant spoke. And the judge mentioned several times how it is not her job to punish OJ for what he did 13 years ago and it’s indeed her job to say that. However, they did have it out for him either way you look at it and there is only one person to blame and that’s not the judge, prosecutor or person(s) who led him to where his “said to be” items were. It was OJ that put himself in this situation and for that, I DO NOT feel the least bit sorry for him even though he will probably die in there because even when they appeal this their not going to win. The judge knew what she was doing. She knew if she threw the book at OJ that would liken his chances for a favorable outcome for an appeal and she in no way shape nor form wants her sentence overturned so she gave him a “STIFF” sentence so the likeliness for an appeal to be granted let alone won, would be slim to none. It’s crazy because like we are all saying, he should have just laid low and lived his life as a man just acquitted for double murder but no, he wants to write books titled If I Did it, he gets into a shouting match or something dealing with road rage and now this. This man really thought he was untouchable and they showed him better than they could tell him. The judge even said herself that she has never in all her years had a case so easily handed to her as this one. EVERYTHING was on tape even down to the celebration party OJ and friends had afterwards. All of his phone calls were taped etc. Another thing, the guy in on it with him had no where near a rap sheet like OJ but being he was sitting next to OJ made him just as guilty. They said if the co-defendant had been sitting next to ANYONE else other than OJ, with the same charges his time would have been no where near 15 years. Lesson to the wise; be careful who you follow especially one who’s wanted by SO MANY PEOPLE! The judge said it best, he is arrogant and ignorant and Karma is no joke! It’s over!!!

He may have been found innocent in the court of law but he was found guilty in the court of public opinion. Why do you think the Goldman’s were able to take him to the cleaners in civil court? The fact of the matter is this:

The ONLY reason why O.J. was acquitted to begin with is because racial tension was high and people feared a riot or severe racial backlash! Not to mention the LAPD’s reputation for racism along with the racial undertones of Mark Fuhrman’s testimony and past. You throw in the way the LAPD botched the investigation and evidence and O.J’s conviction would have been a recipe for urban disaster! Race was the ONLY reason O.J. got off. If not for that his a** woulda BEEN locked up.

So yes, technically he was not convicted. But the majority of this country already decided he was GUILTY. With that in mind… he should have acted accordingly. He should have known they would try to do anything necessary to put his a** in a cadge. He should have made smarter decisions. He did not. This time around there is no Cochran, no massive protests, no angry backlash from the black community. This time he is on his own.

My grandfather is 75 years old and he worked in the Criminal Justice system for over 40 years and he told me that he had never seen a man begging to be punished more than O J Simpson. He called up four friends and told them to bring guns to the scene! How could he be so stupid? Of course they were going to report it. And the guys who were packing turned state’s evidence in fear of prosecution. Every single mishap that O J committed was reported on by the press, including a few years ago when he attacked a motorist, when his youngest daughter called the cops on him and when his oldest daughter knocked him down. O J is just pathetic and I am sick and tired of hearing his name and seeing his dumb face on news. O J’s full-blown stupidity set himself up.

But the woman in my photo is another legend — Josephine Baker. She was an entertainer and actress who was born in St. Louis and performed overseas — most notably in France. The Parisians loved her. She was known for her banana dance. She was also active in the Civil Rights Movement.

No, I don’t feel sorry for him, but I also don’t believe that he had a chance of a fair trial in the US. Twelve people on a jury and not one of them have that past murder case in the back of their minds? I highly doubt it. People wanted him in jail, he knew it, and he ignored so therefore he must suffer the consequences. He had no business at that scene. They shouldn’t have been able to catch him jaywalking, let alone stealing.
