I am sure she will be a “hand on the hip, sassy, domineering, uhhuhing, Mammie kind of caricature.” Shame on you SATC..what are you so araid of? I’ll tell you..they are afraid of the wit, style, intelligence, longevity in beauty of Black Women. Thus they are invested in keeping you portrayed in a negative light…BUT don’t believe it ladies. They are so afraid you are going to take over and people will see how plain they eally are.

Don’t go see this movie. For all that time they could have shown positive relationships between all kinds of women and they chose not to. Jhud IS a beautiful woman, but she is just weighty enough and sassy enough they feel comfortable with her (or someone like Sheri “the world is flat” Shepherd”) They would never cast one of the millions of normal weight beautiful black women out there.

PS This was not an invitation to bash over the normal weight comment. Let us not fool ourselves into the Monique style of thinking . If you are overweight….lose the weight- walk it off, exercise, move that body, do not accept that this is your lot…or that men like a litle meat on the bones- screw that–get fit for YOU.
