Blade is still trying to dodge the long arm of the law, and we must admit, he is doing a hell of a job at it:

Wesley Snipes is appealing his three-year prison sentence for tax evasion, arguing his work helping to thwart terrorists makes him a national hero, according to reports. The troubled star, 45, was handed the sentence in April after officials found him guilty of failing to file taxes for five years. He is currently free pending an appeal, which will center around his work teaching airline flight crews martial arts, following the 9/11 terrorist attacks in 2001. Snipes’ lawyers will tell the appeal court how the actor, “quietly and without any attempt to garner publicity” worked with martial arts experts and that his efforts “helped thwart the notorious ’shoe bomb’ attack by terrorist Richard Reid.” The website reports that Snipes’ legal team will also argue his original trial was flawed because of improper jury instruction and the lack of a pre-trial hearing.

Not the, “I’m a hero” line, Wesley. Say it ain’t so. SMH at the legal team he paid to come up with that bullsh*t.

    He’s got enough money to have his lawyers try anything to overturn the guilty verdict. He’s lucky to be free while awaiting an appeal, so the court should quickly uphold the conviction and send him where he belongs.

    Wesley should have known the government was keeping tabs on his *****. I remember seeing something on a news program years ago about some martial arts compound he helped finance and how the people who lived there were always being caught outside the compound with guns. The authorities were being denied access to the place so it is no wonder that he was busted for tax evasion.

    Hey I saw that film. The guy who used to lock my hair was always showing me conspiracy films. Now is that the one that addresses the fact that there is no real law that says we have to pay federal taxes?     Okay that was the one. It tripped me out that not even the IRS agents could name the law that required us to pay federal taxes. Every American citizen should see that movie and riot in the streets. Until then…..I just have to keep paying ‘cuz I’m not trying to be like Wesley.

    With regard to the other film….is that what it’s called, a Bohemian Society? That film was DEEP. There is a lot of crazy ish going on that we don’t know about.
