I want her to get a grip. Coco [the chick that talked at the end] stated it best. It’s understandable that she doesn’t want to be referred to by that name any longer but she sounds nuts denying what she did and who she was. Had it not been for that nickname or for the many celebrities she discussed in detail, no one would have known who she was or read her “memoirs”. Also, since she seems to want to leave that past behind, she needs to stop writing about boning famous men. Duh

I completely agree with your statements, it’s sad that she has to use this way to get her voice out their. I among others have no right to judge her or her lifestyle. but I just believed that if she would have learn those hard lessons when she was in her early twenties, she could have easily turned this around to make it something positive. A lot of young black girls are struggling to find identity and find ways out of their situations and they often look to public figures to guide them. I just wish there would be more positive black women to help guide this girls instead of women like Karrine. She always states that she is using her book to help young girls not do what she did but she is still particpating in unsatisfactory behavior. I think she does recieved all the backlash because she is a woman, which is a double standard but that’s the way society is.

I know that by you being a AKA, you are being a positive role model for young women in London (I wish you luck there!) I just wish there were more positive black women who have came up from the smae struggles as Karrine but managed to find success in other ways such as getting a education…..

I truly hope that KS finds the help that she needs and soon before her son is affected.

Hello my sister, I am an AKA also, I do agree with what you are saying, there is too much of a double standard, the men can constantly call women hoes and tricks in their music, but a woman cannot talk about her sexual escapades without being called a hoe.
