“American Idol” Producers Want Diddy For Judge Spot

We’ve seen him on enough reality TV to know at least he’ll be entertaining…

Could Sean “Diddy” Combs be a judge on “American Idol?” We hear producers at the Fox show have reached out to the Bad Boy Records founder and rap mogul. “Idol” has an open seat on its judging panel after Steven Tyler opted to leave the show (it recently hired Mariah Carey to replace Jennifer Lopez). Fox had no comment, nor did Combs’ rep. We hear Combs will host a party at a private villa in Ibiza this week. Hamptonites still talk of Combs’ epic “white parties” from summers past.

How much do you think Diddy stands to make if he signs on? Could he get as much as Mariah? Would you want to watch him on “Idol”?
