Jennifer Lopez Says She Felt Awkward Judging American Idol
JLo says she’s too talented to keep her cakes in one place for too long.
The Bronx-born banger, who recently threw up the deuces to her gig as a judge on American Idol claims she’d rather be workin the stage than sitting on the sidelines.
Jennifer told the Los Angeles Times: “I’m a professional! And as fun as it was to take a break from everything and do that for a little while, this is where I belong. I’m so much more at ease on stage than I was sitting in that chair.”
The curvy Latina star – who has twins Max and Emme with estranged husband Marc Anthony – has credited the show with inspiring her musical comeback in 2011 and is thankful for the experience.
Jennifer enthused: “American Idol was a catalyst for all this movement in my life. Talking to the contestants and sharing what I’ve learned over the years performing live and singing in the studio – it got me back to those things. All of a sudden I realised I knew all this stuff.”
Now that her former long-time love Diddy is in talks to sign on as a judge, it sounds like Jenny from the block got out just in time.
She really would’ve felt “awkward” then!
