Jamie Foxx And Garcelle Beauvais To Play President And First Lady In New Film
Actress Garcelle Beauvais and funny man turned Oscar Award-winning actor Jamie Foxx are back at it.
The duo, who were widely known for their characters Fancy and Jamie on the popular sitcom “The Jamie Foxx Show,” are bringing their on-screen love affair back in front of the cameras after 11 years.
It looks like one of our favorite TV couples is reuniting for a brand new movie!
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Garcelle Beauvais and Jamie Foxx are reuniting to play the First Couple in upcoming film White House Down.
Directed by Roland Emmerich, the film follows a Secret Service agent (Channing Tatum) who springs into action when an out of control paramilitary group storms the White House.
White House Down is set to begin filming this fall in Montreal. It’s been a long 11 years since we’ve seen Beauvais and Foxx acting together. The duo first made their mark on The Jamie Foxx show, which aired from 1996 to 2001.
We’ll definitely be watching to see if Jamie and Garcelle can pull off the First Couple. Do you think they have what it takes?
