Apparently, Jada tells Will to showcase his freaky side while filming love scenes:
“My grandmother was really firm about how men are supposed to treat women,” the actor said Friday. “So for me, my worst nightmare is for an actress to … feel like I’m taking this opportunity to get a little quickie feel – you know, some legal cheating going on!” “I just need, specifically women, to feel comfortable around me,” he added. “I just don’t want to feel like I’m that dude.”
But when Smith’s shyness threatened to spill into his romantic moments with Seven Pounds costar Rosario Dawson, his wife Jada had to step in. “Jada said, ‘Listen, I know you’re uncomfortable, but you better not embarrass me,’ “he said with a laugh. “She said, ‘When you do that love scene, you better show ‘em what you’re working with!”
The kind of sh*t that Will and Jada are into is just not something that happens in the black community. When was the last time you ever heard of a black woman saying such unimaginable things to her man? Somebody could get cut over some sh*t like that. SMH

I once dated a waiter, and part of his job was flirting with the female patrons. It didn’t bother me in the least, not when he came home every night, paid the bills and was always doting and respectful.

Maybe they are in a loveless marriage. It is possible, we are on the outside looking in. All we see is photos and read there comments about their marriage. She has been with Will for over a decade and it sounds as if she has grown bored with him and is just looking for a fat check. Most women, even secure ones do not encourage this kind of behavior.

I think it’s that Jada knows her husband is the top actor out there. I don’t remember seeing him in a love scene. I know he did one in “Six Degrees of Seperation” but it was with a dude. Jada just wants him to make it believable. Remember when Tom Cruise & Niclole Kidsman did that movie and they were married and there was no chemistry? Jada just wants him to step it up a notch. We know he is funny and quick witted. She wouldn’t want for us to believe he was not bringing it in the bedroom based on a movie role. This does reflect her. If the love scene fails we will have it in our heads that he can’t perform. LOL.

Fake is about as far from the truth that you could get, in my honest opinion.
I think they work well together. I Think they’re closer to being a perfect couple than most “normal” people realize.

*****ody IN THEIR RIGHT MIND wants to see their significant other getting down with somebody else…even if it is just acting in a movie.
Why would Will doing a bad love scene reflect on Jada? When I see Will, or any other actor in a movie, I see the charater they are playing rather than the actor. If Arnold Swarzenegger is acting violent and killing 25 *****’s per minute, I don’t automatically *****ume he does that ***** in real life. Likewise, if an actor/actress is good in a love scene, I don’t automatically *****ume that is the way they are in real life. The director is the one who determines how “hot” a love scene is anyway. The actors are just doing what they are told. Many actors have gone on record saying that love scenes are one of the most boring things to film because it is hard to be “sexy” with bright harsh studio lights staring in your face and 50 people standing around watching you and the director yelling “Cut” every two minutes to shoot the scene from another angle. Plus, in order to keep down the heat from the studio lights and to keep the actors from sweating and ruining their makeup, often the interior of the studio is kept very COLD.
Now, you try being sexy:
1. In a cold room.
2. With little to no clothes.
3. With bright harsh lights in your face.
4. With 50 people standing close by and watching.
5. With the director yelling CUT every two minutes and asking you to change positions or to hold your current position while they set up to shoot the scene from a different angle.
Sounds like torture to me.
