Rising star Rita Ora is showcasing her cakes in the September issue of GQ Magazine!
Peep an excerpt from their release below:
In 2009, Jay-Z signed Rita Ora and gave her an unprecedented three years to put together her debut album, “Ora.” Now, with the album hitting shelves in the UK this upcoming Monday (with a release in the U.S. soon to follow), GQ caught up with the new starlet (and her booming voice) to see how she’s evolved and made an identity for herself over that time. “The public’s not stupid,” she says. “You can tell an honest artist from one who’s just been given all their songs.”
Do you think she’s right? It seems like most artists these days have songwriters putting in the work for them, and even Rita’s hit had some help from Drizzy right? So what exactly does she mean by an “honest artist?”
