I yearn for the days when a candidate’s significant other stood in the background and smiled…I find it off putting that his wife has been getting more soundbites than her husband. I’m also unimpressed with the way Obama has refused to run a more aggressive campaign. For the past few months he hasn’t gained any significant ground against Clinton. It’s as if he’s in a holding pattern. With Clinton’s latest donations scandal brewing, you’d think that his handlers would create some spin to exploit this chink in her armour. What he needs is a pitbull in the same vein as Carvill to run his campaign. His current staff is too milque-toast for my liking. Ultimately, I think he’s going to lose, but it would be nice if he’d make a stronger effort to make it interesting. If he doesn’t step it up, it’s going to be a foregone conclusion that the final race will be Clinton vs. Thompson (for the Republicans) horserace for control of the Whitehouse.

Obama have a very unhealthy love for Israel that bothers me.

Obama supports policing and a possible strike on Iran.

General Comment…

I remember during the 2004 election, I was doing all that stuff for Kerry even when I didn’t support him. I went to a bunch of inner city towns in New York and New Jersey and signed a bunch of people up to vote. And that’s only because I was desperate to see bush go, but he stole Ohio and he became president again. Even though I campaigned for Kerry, I personally did not vote for him. I voted for David Cobb of the Green party.

I do not support the 2 party system in America. I refuse to believe the human mind is so narrow that we can only see left and right. That system was created to fool us into thinking if we’re actually making a difference if we vote dem or republican. Sorry.

Oh yeah, and, I don’t like Obama. I like a lot of his domestic policies, but as a dem, his foreign policies will be very similiar to that of Bush’s. The thing when it comes to foreign policy, government, regardless of party, work on behalf of America’s interest.

Anywho–

I think Michelle is cunning and her words were just a political move to “big up” Iowa. That was a plain, old fashion way of brown nosing. Don’t get me wrong and please don’t start with the “hater” for I’m just the opposite. The Iowans will feel really good about her letting them know just how important ALL of their votes are—some people will sway toward Barrack just from her comments alone!

I spoke with one of my twin brother’s former professor from the University of Iowa just today. I asked her feelings about Barrack and the response was very positive. She seems to think he’ll do well with Iowa’s votes.

you like his foreign policy? well, i like the fact that he voted against the war and the patriot act, but that’s about it. i wouldn’t even vote for a democrat (for the exception of kucinich, but he has no chance), let alone a republican.
