Obama Tells Blagojevich “Ho Sit Down”

Obama put the word out that the well known crook, Blagojevich, needs to step down and call it quits:

President-elect Barack Obama is calling for the Illinois governor to resign. Obama spokesman Robert Gibbs says the president-elect agrees with other prominent politicians in Illinois and elsewhere that “under the current circumstances, it is difficult for the governor to effectively do his job and serve the people of Illinois.” Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich was arrested Tuesday, accused of scheming to enrich himself by selling Obama’s vacant Senate seat. The governor has authority to appoint the replacement. In response to questions from The Associated Press, Gibbs said Obama believes the Illinois legislature should consider a special election to fill the seat. Gibbs says the hope is to put a process in place to select a new senator who will have the trust and confidence of the people of Illinois.

Under the new regime, these old slight of the hand maneuvers are no longer tolerated. We are wondering if he gets some time for attempting this weasel move. We dig Obama for pulling his own boy’s card, but it’s not like he had a choice.

Rep. Jesse Jackson Jr. is “Senate Candidate 5,” who — through an emissary — allegedly offered to raise money for Gov. Blagojevich in return for being appointed as Barack Obama’s replacement in the U.S. Senate, sources tell the Chicago Sun-Times.

The alleged offering was caught on a wiretap secretly planted by the feds.

“In a recorded conversation on October 31, 2008, Rod Blagojevich described an earlier approach by an *****ociate of Senate Candidate Five as follows: “We were approached ‘pay to play.’ That, you know, he’d raise me 500 grand. An emissary came. Then the other guy would raise a million, if I made him (Senate Candidate 5) a Senator,” the affadavit accompanying Blagojevich’s criminal complaint states.

Speculation has centered that Jackson is Senate Candidate 5 since the complaint was released Tuesday. Jackson, who has aggressively campaigned for the Senate seat, told ABC news that he has not “been informed” by federal prosecutors that he is Senate Candidate 5.

Jackson said he is “not a target” of any probe, but the U.S. attorney’s office in Chicago has sought to interview him.

“I would like to do that as quickly as possible,” Jackson said.

Yeah I bet he did now that his boy Lil Jesse has been implicated in the scheme. Things are not looking good in the Obama camp. If heads don’t role over this I will think Barack is in on it.

I live in Chicago, born and raised here. Blagojevich is a motherf**ker! And I’m sure if you read the 70page indictment than you read that everything is for sale in Chicago. Mayor Daley crooked Irish gangsta ***** should be next. Trust me Obama like many other politicians in Chicago was fully aware that Blagojevich was being taped by the FEDS. He got reckless, he would sell his shoes for the right price. Sorry to disappoint the right wing haters, but Obama’s hands are clean in regards to this madness. I’ll pray for Jesse he wants political power so bad that he would sell his soul just like Jesse Sr. did back in the late 60’s early 70’s. It’s unfortunate that this is the 3rd or 4th governor in Chicago indicted. They know the routine: GUILTY UNTIL PROVEN INNOCENT.

No *****. Please to your ignorant a$$. It looks like Jesse Jr. offered to raise cash for the crazy govenor to get Barack’s seat and Jesse Jr. was a leader on Barack’s campaign team. There is a good chance that someone on Barack’s staff knew what was going on. I also find it odd that the feds arrested the crazy govenor before he had a chance to meet with “candidate 5″ aka Jesse Jr. to discuss the corrupt deal in a meeting that was scheduled for this week. Why not let them go through with it so they could bust Jesse Jr. too? Read the news and stop relying on Bossip for current events *****got.

It looks like the governor was set up…. more than likely everyone knew he was crooked. Trust, the feds would love to get rid of yet another Black man, so if Jesse Jr. was involed, they would have no problem getting him too…..

I am almost positive that if the FBI had found that Jesse Jackson or anyone in Baracks camp had anything to do with it they would have already acted on it. The FBI should have waited until he actually sold the seat and then cracked everything open.

They have been investigating Blagojevich for 3 years and they just took him into custody. He knew they were investigating him & he got on the news and said go ahead and tap my phones you wont find anything on me..He started 2 believe he was above the law bcuz he’d been getting away with it 4 so long.. his wife is shady too. I wish they would get Mayor Daley’s ***** next. ALL CHI polititicians are SHADY.. the last governor we had (Ryan) is doing 6 1/2 years in a fed joint 4 coruption charges. Warren Ballentine(attorney) said on a local radio station that we might be shocked to find out who else is involved in this mess as this story unfolds..I hope they dont have ***** on OBAMA. I started 2 worry about that a while back when they were tying him to Tony Rezko. Rezko sold OBAMA his home and did a fundraiser for him. Rezko is facing serious fed time as well..

Im not from the CHI so all the info I have is local news and discussions with fellow students at my university, but Im of the opionion that unfortunelty OBAMA has to be if not involved aware of some of the things going on in Illinois politics. You dont serve as long as he did surrounded by shady people and dont get your hands dirty even once. It’s not easy in politics, you dont join in, you are against them and they will take you down quickly. I pray OBAMA is not involved in anything but in a realistic perspective I think its VERY hard that he it totally innocent.
