Rhianna is big ONLY because of Beyonce. People were facinated with the “contraversy” between her and Beyonce. I never heard of her until the whole love triangle thing. Rhianna cannot sing, she cannot dance, she’s little by little leaving r & b, regae, or whatever her genre of music is (i.e. the clothes – rocker chick, her songs – very pop, a little punk rock, and her company – “white guys are hot”). It’s a smart move on her part to go more mainstream because she’s basically investing in her future and singers of that genre really don’t have to have much singing talent, as long as they’re screaming, they’re making money (i.e. Ashley Simpson, Avril Lavigne, I can safely put Rhianna in that catagory). I don’t base my support of an artist on their personal life. It’s all about they’re music. I don’t think I’d like any artist if I met them personally. I say that because I met -Z list Musiq Soulchild and that little dwarf had the nerve to be full of himself, But I’d still buy his next album. If only people were mature and bright enough to base their approval/disapproval on the actual music and not the person because at the end of the day, none of them cut for us, though we do pay for their elaborate lifestyle.
