Wait, how you gonna get mad and start busting shots when you allowed another broad up in the bed with you and your husband?!?!?!
An argument between a Zephyrhills, FL man and his wife ended with the Pasco Sheriff’s SWAT team responding to shots fired early Wednesday morning. According to deputies, David Andrew Rice, 30, his wife Mindi Elisha Rice, 29, and another woman were at the Rices’ Zephyrhills residence Tuesday night.
At some point that night, the group engaged in sex, according to deputies. As the trio lay in bed about 2 a.m. Wednesday, Mindi Rice told deputies she believed her husband was trying to have sex with the woman again. David Rice told deputies he was attempting to grab the blankets to cover himself as they slept.
According to deputies, Mindi Rice grabbed a .22 caliber revolver and fired one round into the ceiling, threatening the woman. David Rice then snatched the gun from his wife, grabbed her around the neck, told his wife he would kill her. He then fired a shot into the wall next to her, deputies said.
Authorities were called by the woman, but no one opened the door. After the deputy left, the woman called again. When sheriff’s deputies returned, the woman was removed and the couple refused to come out.
Shortly after the SWAT unit arrived, Mindi Rice came out, but David Rice stayed in the house. According to deputies he blocked all entrances and closed all windows.
David Rice, who is charged with aggravated assault and obstructing an officer without violence, was subdued with a stun gun and taken into custody. Mindi Rice also was charged with aggravated assault. David Rice has a $5,150 bond, while Mindi Rice’s bond is $5,000. Both remain in the Land O’ Lakes Jail.
