Why the long face, Usher? Congrats, It’s a boy!:
Sources confirm to PEOPLE that Usher and his wife Tameka have a new addition to the family: a baby boy born on Wednesday.
The new Raymond (whose name has not yet been released) joins older brother Usher Raymond V, who turned 1 on Nov. 26. The couple married in 2007. Tameka, 37, also has three sons from a previous relationship.
A source says Usher was at his wife’s side during the delivery. Last month, he told Access Hollywood that his soon-to-arrive baby was “one of the best Christmas gifts there is to have.”
“I’m so proud to be a father by the time I’m 30,” Usher (who hit the big 3-0 in October) told PEOPLE back in August. “I’d hate to be 80 years old and not be able to run with my kids. I need to still be able to do flips when they’re in high school!”
What a blessing. Too bad with crazy Tameka using the mind-numbing powers of that wicked snapper, poor Usher didn’t even have a say in the matter. Damn.

I made no mention of who you should marry date or canoodle with. I hope you wouldn’t overlook someone that possessed the qualities you desire because she had more than one child with her ex-husband. But if multiple children is a deal-breaker for you that’s understandable especially since you don’t have children. I never said poor had anything to do with you, I made a statement that the amount of children is more of a concern for people who are not rich. Maybe you do have Usher money, but most people poor or not don’t have that type of money, and therefore with childcare healthcare and so on. Multiple children would be an issue. Tameka according to the stories, because I don’t claim to really know anything about these people was married to a successful man with whom she had children with, she was also a successful stylist, so I would cl*****ify her as having her ***** together.

I’m happy that the baby is healthy, but married or not, ol’ Girl needs to fall back. It’s not always about the money, it’s about the TIME AND EFFORT it takes to raise quality human beings in this life and time. Nannies can only do so much.
And Raquel26, yes, there are still brothers who don’t have a gang of kids: my husband was childless when we met, I had a son from my first marriage and we’re now expecting out 2nd child together. More of us need to not stick and move with just any and everybody, so we can minimize the baggage for them and for us. I’m glad for Ursh and Tameka, but he’s a father of 2, stepfather to 3, that’s ENOUGH!!!

very logical if you and your husband want a big family and you are over 34, you don’t have the leisure of waiting 3 or 4 years between children. @ ms k, i agree with you, a doctor would tell you good baby *****ing is at least 2 yrs. it gives the body time to fully recover without scarring or future complications. i have known a few chics that when they went back for their 6wk checkup, they were pregnant again.
So, ….cool, if I had stated a DOCTOR’S professional opinion, like Ms. K, it would’ve been fine to say ‘need’? Please. The body NEEDS time to heal/regain strength b/tw pregnancies, children NEED lots of attention, esp. in the first year, new parents NEED to adjust to fatherhood/motherhood and the dynamics of relationship before adding the stress and expense of an additional child. was your opinion really about Tameka’s health, or were you just following the lead of people who feel a black woman’s reproduction should be monitored because you know “black woman are always popping out babies like it’s cute or something, to try and trap a man, because lord knows she aint young or pretty enough for him to really love her” This is the attitude taken with people like Tameka or Tiny, because they are deemed too unattractive for their mates. Now this may not be your attitude but that is how your comments came across.
I never stated ANYthing about her looks (we’re the same complexion and I’m a year younger than her), so it would be about health and juggling a marriage, household and previous children. Since I wasn’t as profane/hateful/vulgar as most of these other bloggers were, I don’t see how my single opinion is generating such backlash, to be honest with you.
I think it is a beautiful thing what Usher and Tameka have. It really seems like they are in love and it is good to have a big family. I only have one child and a step-daughter but I would love to have 5 or 6 more. There are so many women and men who don’t have their act together so to see them makes me proud. I would rather see her spitting out 15 kids then them in news because they are on crack or something else crazy. I don’t think she is that pretty but she must have a great personality to have found two men that loved her enough to marry her.

I just think you may have been one of the later post so you got hit with it. But honestly there is nothing wrong or unhealthy about the new baby. This is what married couples are suppose to do. I have never heard anyone say something about Holly and Rodney Pete and their 4 children, Eddie and Nicole and their 6, I think Denzel has four or five as well Run Simmons has what 6 the second pregnancy is so common, this happens all of the time and while it may not be recommended I’m sure she is perfectly healthy she has all the help and *****istance she needs and she is not a new mother she is officially a professional baby handler at this point.
