Jeezy is giving back to the hood, and we don’t mean helping his boys out with funding cocaine ventures:

Grammy nominated rapiper Young Jeezy is getting into the holiday spirit today (December 12) and will hand out Christmas gifts to children today (December 12). Jeezy has teamed with The National Lighthouse Foundation to present the gifts during the annual Christmas program at Narvie J. Harris Theme School. The stop is part of the rapper’s ongoing community outreach, which has seen the rapper present a “Back 2 School” giveaway for children who needed clothes and school supplies, organize a voter registration event, and participating in food drives throughout the country.

That is how you give back, by doing something worthy for the kids and people behind you. Props goes out to Jeezy on this one. Now, if we could only eliminate the thug mental he holds so true to his heart.

Sounds good.

More than anything kids, especially poor kids with little to no options out of poverty need love, role models, mentors, and courses on how to handle finances, politics, law, psychology, and chemistry just in case the music thing doesn’t workout… In Chicago all schools aren’t created equal…Kids no matter what neighborhood they live in or income bracket their parents are in should receive the same education as kids living in Kennelworth.

I haven’t worked it all out in my head just yet.
