Hats off to this trend? After spotting NY Knicks Tyson Chandler and teammate JR Smith wearing nearly identical headwear to this week’s US Weekly Most Stylish New Yorkers party, we wondered if maybe the Knicks ballers were getting carried away with the trend. We’re especially concerned for Chandler because he’s been doing this look a lot lately.

Come to think of it, so has Amar’e Stoudemire, who rocked a fedora with a tux to the Met Gala this year! We wouldn’t be surprised if all the Knicks are being dressed these days by Amar’e's stylist Rachel Johnson — but we’re starting to question if they’re living up to the “cult of individuality” look when they all seem to have the same steez!
