YMCMB gets no love from the Dogman…
DMX Says Drake’s Sound Is ‘Annoying’
DMX seems to have very little love for YMCMB…
Last month, Young Money rapper Drake released a track titled ‘Enough Said,’ which features the vocals from the late R&B singer, and announced plans to executive produce a new posthumous album.
Following backlash from Aaliyah’s fans and even her bereaved family, DMX has weighed in on the controversy and says Drake should have at least asked the likes of Missy Elliott and Timbaland, whom Aaliyah frequently worked with, to get involved in the project.
“I’m kinda feelin’ some kinda a way about the fact that you been commissioned, that you been blessed, you’ve been given the opportunity to do the Aaliyah album yet you don’t include anybody that she worked with personally,” DMX told Sway on MTV’s RapFix Live.
Speaking about Drake’s own music, DMX had even more harsh comments for OVO’s finest.
“He has talent, but it’s kinda redundant, it’s kinda the same all the time to me personally. It’s an annoying sound,” he said.
Do you agree with X’s Drake slander? Or is he just throwing shade because Drake didn’t include him on the Aaliyah project?
