Talk about peer pressure…SMH.

Charlotte County, FL deputies arrested a 15-year-old boy for shooting 3 of his school friends after they refused to smoke synthetic THC with him. According to the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office, they received a call at 7:26 p.m. for a disturbance at Duxbury and Dalton avenues in Port Charlotte. Two boys told deputies they had been shot with a pellet gun by the suspect causing open wounds and bleeding.

One was shot in the back and the other shot in the calf, thumb and bicep. A third boy had also been shot in the face about an inch and a half below his right eye, on the back of each arm, and twice in the back.

All three boys said they had been hanging out at a home on Duxbury Avenue with the suspect who lit up a joint containing synthetic maryjane and started passing it around. All three boys told him they would not smoke it. He got upset when one of the boys smacked the joint out of his hand. He left, came back and pulled a pellet gun hidden in his shirt and started shooting.

Deputies responded to the home in the 300 block of Duxbury Avenue and the homeowner said the suspect was hiding in a bedroom. She said she went in earlier and retrieved the pellet gun, but he locked the door. She gave deputies permission to force the door open. The teen was arrested and charged with 3 felony counts of Aggravated Battery Using a Deadly Weapon. He was booked into the Charlotte County Jail, and then transported to the Department of Juvenile Justice center in Ft. Myers.
