She’s 41 and pregnant. Statistically speaking, that’s a miracle and she can be as superstitious as she wants to be. I’m sure a lot of people who struggle to get pregnant do some weird things too.

Unlike women in their 20s and early 30s, she doesn’t have the luxury of time. It’s not just sex. It’s baby making. For some reason, trying that hard (which she needed to be doing) takes the fun out of it. I wouldn’t mind trying for a year… as long as I’m not over 35 with a health condition.

I saved my positive tests from each of my kids. They are dry and capped and there’s nothing wrong with that. 35 negatives is something I wouldn’t want to be reminded about so I would throw those away Halle. Keep the 1 positive one.

I agree with BG 100%. When a brotha sees a dime and finds out that she is not attached to someone, that should be an automatic red flag. u guys dnt know wht it is like to truly long for something and constantly be denied it. Every month the hope for a child and then the negative test, tht can mess any up on a deep level. it is not for u or I to “justify” y she kept the negatives maybe she just needed to..What about being compassionate for another human. My husband and I stuggled to get pregnant at 27/29 and the comments from people wanting to help almost broke my spirit, on the real. I have taken several pregnancy tests only to be crushed mnth after mnth.

Seeing Halles’ dream come true and her honesty around her trials can really inspire, encourage or help someone.

Even in church I have heard that a story shared may just help another….

Isn’t Halle a diabetic? She’s diabetic, 41, crazy and having a baby–just the facts.

41 is not that old to have a kid. Halle can have three or four more kids. Seriously. My grandmother had her last child at 47 yrs old, my aunt at 45. Yea, maybe a little strange. I agree, but pretty sure she had them in a seperate plastic bag and rinsed before storing them in it.
