Adele Speaks Out Against Female Artists Using Sex Sell Records

Soul-singin’ popstress Adele is still clapping back at critics who constantly question her about being a thicky-thick girl in the music industry.

Ecstatic about the success of her music and expecting her first child shortly, Adele says she’d still keep her lady lumps covered up even if she were the size of a mainstream supermodel.

The British pop star is not a fan of rival singers who feel the need to strip down to the bare minimum for the sake of selling records.

Confident in her body and talent, the singer said, “I just stand there and sing. I’m not worried that I’m a ‘plus size’ and so much bigger than the other artists. No matter what you look like the key is to be happy with yourself.”

The Sun reports that Adele thinks female artists that promote scintillating ‘sex appeal’ in their videos are selling false images to their fans, adding, “I’ve seen them up close and they don’t even look like that.”

Hmmmm. Does Adele have a point? Or should young female artists who work hard to stay in shape be able to live by the “if you got it, flaunt” mantra without being criticized?
