Hammer got $33 million back in the day but that n*gga was stupid, 250 employees and building a multi-million dollar house overlooking the hood?

hammer gave those people jobs, that’s not stupid, it’s commendable. I wish the bush admin had been that “stupid”, and I lived in Fremont, Ca. for years, and let me tell you that Hammer’s house was in Warm Springs which is a very ritzy community…there’s nothing hood about that neighborhood, google it. oh and what you said about rappers in the ATL…i’m going to validate that one.

…and speaking on this Dame vs. Hov thing. I like Dame Dash and Jay. Two intelligent brothers who changed the rap landscape and built a solid brand that went beyond just rapping. Can’t be mad at that. But the real measure is what they achieved after the Roc. Jay is larger now then when he was grinding out albums every year – even though his work is not as good. And for such a high profile union with Beyonce, you hear nothing negative spill out of that camp. Jay has become a Dame in his own right. A straight up mogul. Dame seems to be shrinking financially and in influence. If Dame was truly the brains of the Roc, then he should be able to find another stud. After all, Jigga did find Rihanna…..

While I have to agreed that rich folks don’t suddenly go flat broke but Dame should have handled his business the right way behind the scene. There are dudes in the music industry and even the regular business world that quietly go about making their stacks.

The problem with alot of dudes in Hip-Hop is that they come out with a certain persona and alot of times it’s flash and not who they really are but because they have “branded” themselves that way from the start, they have to put on that act like they are really ballin’ and trying to keep up with other people trying to play “high post”.

Dame bought five houses for what? Now he has to give them up because they won’t sell and he didn’t have to liquid to own them outright. The rich extend themselves with credit just like the average joe does.

Dame would be better served to stop fielding questions about Jay and let him be. Take that energy and rebuilt himself an empire. If he is a talented and creative as he claims, it shouldn’t be hard. Unless, it was really all Jay from the jump and he was just a front man with a big mouth. If he really wants to learn and do something to get back, he should start hanging out with real businessmen who have made and continue to make fortunes…

U see who your true friends through adversity, & if that is how he is still speaking after so many years, then it is clear to see that there is no love lost & possibly been a conditioned love all along (MONEY) 1ce that is taken out of the equation, what we see is a hating Dash!! Jay Z has his swagger on point & his success is wisdom sumthing Dame lacks. Jay Z has passed the test of the past & kept it moving!! Dame is still living in the past! I like Dame Dash. It seems like he’s bothered by the change in the relationship btwn him and Jay but he’s playin it cool…. i understand that. Some guys have longstanding friends biz martners whatever, and an event changes the dynamic…. Dash has a right to be bitter. JZ make half a billion and his house getting 4closed… cmon.
