Erykah Badu performed at the Heineken Red Star Soul Event last night in Philly. We are al aware that Ms. Badu has always been “quirky”, but this get up is crazy. She looks like someone’s granny. Hopefully those are just props or something from her “Bag Lady” song, hopefully. Please, Erykah, don’t go Lauryn Hill on us.

Why you have talented you don’t have to resort to such foolishness. It’s not like you have to appear half naked on the stage to keep people interested nor do you have to go to the extreme and just look like a damn fool either. Because your music and your voice are great.
I can understand you want to be recognized for your talent, but, who will notice or remember your great talent when you keep doing this. Remember when people use to talk about Michael Jackson and his music. Now look. You can go to far both ways.

I love Erykah Badu she’s her an individual she doesn’t care what people think. I love that about Erykah. But I got to agree I wish she would RELEASE a NEW ALBUM?? I really hope Erykah releases a new album and NO I hope its not another EP. I hope its a new album of original material. The music industry really needs Ms. Badu back!!!
