President Obama Speaks On Nicki Minaj And Mariah Carey American Idol Feud

As if he doesn’t already have enough on his plate to be concerned with, President Barack Obama recently weighed in on the messy judges-table beef between YMCMB first lady Nicki Minaj and divalicious mommy-banger Mariah Carey on the upcoming season of American Idol.

Seems like all anyone is talking about is the feud between American Idol judges Nicki Minaj and Mariah Carey. The topic is so widespread, it even made it’s way to President Barack Obama.

While giving a radio interview on the YO! Show on Y100, the POTUS was asked about the ongoing rift between the two superstars, and whether he could repair the relationship between the two platinum-selling artists.

“You know what, I think they are going to be able to sort it out. I am confident…. I think that both outstanding artists are going to make sure that they are moving forward and not going backwards.”

Staying on topic, host Michael Yo asked which of the dynamic artists is his favorite. Not picking sides, Obama commented on how he knows Mariah because of events she has done for him in the past, and called her “a wonderful lady.” As far as Nicki goes, the president admitted that he does not know Minaj personally, but acknowledged that she is on his iPod.

Granted, he was just answering the question that was asked….and we’re sure it’s difficult for him to NOT be in the loop since he has two pre-teen daughters…but c’mon Barry O.

Don’t give these GOP goons anymore ammo for their foolishness.  Buuuut we are kinda wondering exactly WHICH songs the POTUS  is bumpin’ on his Nicki playlist….
