you may be right after all many of us have spent mny years of wearing harsh chemicals and damaging our hair.

Now don’t get me wrong not all folks with perms have damaged hair, but it is the constant upkeep of barraging our hair with these harsh chemicals which makes us eventually go bald.

Perms coupled with daily life stressors is the perfect storm for hair loss.

That is so sad. Two grown ***** women showing their *****es in a club.

I DO feel bad for homegirl with the bald patches. It looks like she has a condition called “alopecia”. It’s not a joke and I can only imagine the damage it did to her self esteem.

Black women, lacefront weaves and wigs were made for these kind of women. Not because you want a more European grade of hair…but because you don’t have any at all.

I knew this White girl in school who had this. She was kinda nerdy but she had a PRETTY face. She would walk around the edges of campus and was often late to cl***** because she wasted so much time avoiding *****holes who taunted and threw things at her.

Me and my homegirl finally went up to her one day and was like “Hey…you should hang out with US today after school”

Then we took her ***** to my favorite hair place (back before I went natural with my dreds) and we got her hooked up with 2 new wigs. Our treat.
What an amazing transformation. She felt better about herself and after coming to her defense a couple of times, people started mellowing out. She found some friends, got a new dude then moved away.
I wonder where she is now..and I wonder why the hell I thought of that and wrote it. Oh well…I don’t feel like deleting *****.

Point is…I feel bad for baldy girl.

That’s why I get a routine touch-up every 4 weeks and trim my ends 40-50 days. I don’t wear weaves, lace fronts, wigs, or any other ***** that will have my head looking like the top of a corndog due to excessive use.
Barring any diseases, I don’t ever want my scalp to look all diced up like hers.

That was so disturbing for so many reasons.

1. The whole fight looked so primitive, like a throw-back to caveman days when hair-pulling was part of the culture. They looked like two dogs locked inc combat. I bet the fight woulda stopped if someone had had a water hose. I’ve seen better and more graceful fighting on Animal Planet.

2. The way the crowd chants at the beginning of the fight is disgusting. They enjoyed it, it was entertaining – watching a woman get her hair torn off.

3. So many men and no one nips it in the bud. I understand not wanting to get involved but violence should be stopped by those who can stop it. I don’t know if these women were as strong as men or if the woman in the purple dress started it (it looked like she ran up on the girl in black)and people felt she deserved the humiliation she was receiving but it should have been stopped by a couple of guys.

3. The woman in purple looked like she was 60 years old. Even wild animals stop fighting in their old age.

4. In the heat of combat what does the bald lady do? She stoops down to pick up her wig and tries to put it back on.

It’s all very strange but it’s not a black thing. It’s a primitive thing.

I am a hairstylist and there are a number of reasons she could have been bald. She could of had a glued weave and the other woman could of pulled the whole thing off with her hair.

She could suffer from alopecia.

She could of colored and relaxed her hair in one day, which causes baldness.

It is just to sketchy to figure out. One thing we do know is that she is bald whatever the case.

If you have a weave you better walk away if you don’t want it *****ed off.

I once was breaking up a fight between two girls fighting over a guy, the guy was actually enjoying it, so when I stepped in to break it up, he tried to fight me.
