This is a bit strange, if true, but rich people’s lifestyles are so different from our broke *****es. LOL This could be a private getaway she is sponsoring, so that the Obamas have a safe place to go when they need to get away. Celebs are ALWAYS shacking up with one another. George Bush was ALWAYS in Crawford, Texas hiding out, so maybe this will be their version of the Crawford, Texas ranch.

Probably a lie… there’s no house in GTown worth $50 million. Emb*****y Row has homes priced in the $20 mill range, Foxhall probably up to $15 mil and AU Park $15 mil tops. Gerogetown’s most expensive I would say liberally would go for $25 million. But that’s far fetched b/c it would be next to homes that are only 750K plus.

Unless she’s buying multiple homes and doing a teardown/new construction, but even then, it would be hard to reach 50 stacks.

Now, Oprah could buy most of SouthEast DC for $50 mil and build a larger verion of the Shrimp Boat (only DC people would know what I’m talking about).

At the end of the day, we should all be a little smarter and not believe everything we read.

I like Oprah, but this is just ridiculous. This borders on stalking. And whatever happened to Stedman? Are they not together anymore, or has Gail now officially become Oprah’s live in lover? No one seems to hear from Stedman anymore. If he was a real man “taking care of business,” Oprah wouldn’t be looking to be with Barack in D.C.

This story is so false!! I was born and raised in DC and live in NW DC and there isn’t any home worth that much in Georgetown. I can see the 2M, but not 50M. Anyone from DC know that Georgetown is alright, but if Oprah wants a 50M home she need to move to Silver Spring, Potomac Maryland, Bethesda or Rockville, but Georgetown. No!!

One of the big criticisms of the George W is that he wasn’t a party guy. The Clintons were known for having lots of parties. Since Washington is Hollywood for Ugly people….I am kinda excited about what having a young president that’s black will do for DC nightlife. I imagine seeing a different sort of crowd rolling through DC. Instead of moving to Georgetown of Md…Oprah should move to Nova…just a few minutes along the parkway. Instead of worrying about Michelle keeping her man…Im more interested in Oprah bringing her money to the DMV and what that might look like???
