Embarrassing First Week Album Sales

The music industry isn't the same as it used to be. The days of going platinum in the first week are basically all gone. Hell, the days of going platinum ever are almost all gone. Still, people can pull it together long enough to have a decent outing on their first weeks. But not all artists are able to come out looking good when they drop an album. Some absolutely tank. They brick, even. Want some examples? Of course you do!
Lil B - I'm Gay After all that hoopla about Lil B and his career, his album didn't even sell 2,000 copies. Pshhhh.
Kevin Federline fills up pick-up truck with gas in Chatsworth Kevin Federline - Playing With Fire His little embarrassing debut sold 6,500 copies. Hehe.
Kreayshawn for GQ Kreayshawn - Something About Kreay She did a little less than 3,000 sold albums. Hopefully that's the end of her career.
50 Cent - Curtis His album did pretty well when it dropped on September 11, 2007. But the kicker was that he he got crushed in a head-to-head competition with Kanye West. He still hasn't recovered.
Soulja Boy - The Deandre Way He cried himself to sleep the week his album dropped and sold 13,000 copies.
Rapper Flavor Flav at the official grand opening of the Flavor Flav House of Flavor Take Out Restaurant. Las Vegas, Nevada - 15.03.12 Flavor Flav - Hollywood His album dropped during the heat of his reality show days and it bombed tremendously.
Wale - Attention:Deficit He had a major label debut through Interscope and walked away with 28,000 in his first week. Pretty sorry.
ja rule Ja Rule - Pain Is Love 2 He sold a smidge more than 3,000 copies. How the mighty have fallen.
