Oprah is PETA’s Person of the Year

PETA has crowned Oprah as their person of the year:

While PETA may have a long list of people on their blacklist, they also have a list of people they feel should get recognition for their good doing.

PETA President Ingrid E. Newkirk just announced that talk show queen Oprah has been named their Person of the Year after using her TV show to highlight cases of animal cruelty and promote vegan diets.

Newkirk insists Winfrey has utilised her “powerful voice to defend those without one.”

Oprah will be presented with a plaque and a letter of appreciation in recognition of her support. Oprah is truly a role model in so many aspects so we’re glad she’s getting recognition for her good doing.

Yeah, yeah, yeah, standing ovation for Oprah and congrats. Back to the issue at hand. We can tell PETA this much: they have no more times to toss a bucket of paint on people and keep their good health in tact. They’ve been warned.

Nothing for nothing- but Oprah eats meat and I seen her in her special dinners chomp down some meat so Peta is trying to basically get her money.Otherwise they would have done her like Lindsey Lohan and hit her upside her head with flower.

So does Peta think that cow just laid down and said here take my skin and make that skirt and those shoes. Get real Peta. We have domain over animals. If they cared about human beings as much as they care about animals maybe the world would be a better place.
